The Role:

Lead performance delivery. Shape paid search and marketplace strategy. Drive measurable growth.

Our client is looking for a Paid Performance Manager to oversee strategy, implementation, optimisation, and reporting across paid search campaigns on Google and Amazon. You will manage a portfolio of key clients, predominantly in FMCG and Retail.

The role involves a significant client-facing element, including leading weekly calls, contributing to monthly and quarterly review meetings, and presenting actionable insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day paid search delivery for a portfolio of clients
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with client stakeholders
  • Plan, implement, optimise, and report on paid search campaigns
  • Utilise bid management tools and automation platforms to drive ongoing performance
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights and commercial recommendations
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and new solutions
  • Support research and strategy for new business opportunities
  • Contribute to thought leadership and market insights
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends, tools, and platforms in digital performance
  • Manage and mentor 1–2 junior team members
  • Set clear development objectives and support ongoing skill growth
  • Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to best practice across campaigns

Your Profile:

You are a commercially minded performance specialist with strong hands-on experience in paid search and Amazon Ads. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy taking ownership, and are confident managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Essential Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in performance marketing, ideally in an agency environment
  • Proven experience managing large-scale paid search budgets on Google and Amazon
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, and Google Analytics (or equivalent)
  • Experience with bid management tools and competitor research platforms
  • Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is desirable
