The Opportunity
Sharp creative output is the heartbeat of their success, valued deeply by both their Growth team and our CEO. This is a senior leadership role designed for a strategist who wants to build the machine behind the ads. You will act as the strategic counterpart to performance media, ensuring creative is a primary growth lever rather than a reactive service.
You will be instrumental in refining the output of a 3-person creative strategy team, supported by a Lead Video Editor and an offshore team of 4 video editors. Your mission is to implement the processes and structures that make our creative success repeatable and scalable.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will own the end-to-end performance creative ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Strategy & Ideation: Own the direction for core SKUs, translating insights into high-performing hooks, angles, and storytelling structures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of junior and mid-weight Creative Strategists, fostering a culture of ownership and commercial excellence.
- Scalable Output: Oversee the delivery of high-volume assets across statics, video, and UGC while maintaining brand quality.
- Systems of Play: Design, document, and continuously improve creative SOPs—from brainstorming and briefing to QA and testing.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor performance data daily to turn insights into sharper creative, raising the bar for how creative is reported across the business.
- Innovation: Keep the brand at the cutting edge by testing new formats and AI-assisted creative tools.
You
We are looking for a "high ownership" leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and holds themselves to the highest standards.
What You Bring:
- DTC Pedigree: Proven experience within DTC or subscription-led brands within a Creative Strategy role or Paid Social role where you have managed creative strategy and scaled creative output
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of performance creative on Meta and its interaction with media buying; additional experience with Google and YouTube is a distinct advantage.
- Leadership Experience: A track record of leading and scaling in-house creative teams.
- Commercial Sharpness: You understand the metrics that matter—CTR, CVR, CPA, and contribution—not just vanity metrics.
- Systems Mindset: A process-driven approach to creative that allows for speed and leverage without compromising craft.
