Performance Media Manager

Contract: Freelance
Rate: £350 per day, 2 months initially with scope to extend
We are recruiting for a hands-on Performance Media Manager to join a growing agency, supporting a portfolio of B2B technology clients.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of paid media campaigns across search, paid social and programmatic, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Role
As the Performance Media Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, activation, optimisation and reporting of digital media campaigns. You'll work collaboratively with creative, account management and client teams, using data and insight to continually improve campaign performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, launching and managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and programmatic platforms.
- Building and optimising B2B campaigns focused on brand awareness, lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Monitoring campaign performance, analysing data and implementing ongoing optimisation strategies.
- Producing clear, insightful performance reports and presenting recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Working closely with internal teams to shape media strategy and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Keeping up to date with platform developments, industry trends and new digital marketing opportunities.
- Supporting and mentoring a junior member of the team.
- Managing multiple campaigns and priorities within a fast-paced agency environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- At least 4 years' hands-on experience managing performance media campaigns.
- Strong experience across Google Ads (Search and Display), LinkedIn Campaign Manager and programmatic platforms. Experience with Meta is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of B2B targeting strategies, buying cycles and lead generation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn campaign data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting campaign performance to clients.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members would be beneficial.
