Senior Paid Media Manager / Senior Paid Media Strategist – 5 Month FTC

Location: London – Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 pro rata
Contract: 5-month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential to extend
Start: September 2026

We’re working with a leading digital agency looking for an experienced Senior Paid Media Manager / Senior Paid Media Strategist to join the team on an initial 5-month FTC.

You’ll take day-to-day ownership of paid media delivery for a major international campaign supporting a high-profile global conference, with activity running across more than 50 international markets.

This is not simply a media planning and buying role.

Alongside being hands-on across paid media platforms, you’ll be responsible for turning the wider campaign strategy into launch-ready activity, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders and keeping delivery moving across a complex, fast-paced international campaign.

The Role

You’ll own the planning, activation, optimisation and reporting of paid media activity across 50+ markets.

Meta and LinkedIn will be the core platforms, with additional activity across Google Ads, YouTube and X.

You’ll manage always-on activity alongside major campaign moments and registration-focused activity, ensuring budgets, creative, audiences, tracking, approvals and timelines are all aligned.

You’ll also work closely with creative, content, account management, web and analytics teams, proactively identifying blockers and ensuring campaigns are ready to launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day paid media delivery across 50+ international markets

  • Plan, build, launch and optimise campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn

  • Support additional activity across Google Ads, YouTube and X

  • Translate wider campaign strategy into clear media plans, budgets, timelines and actions

  • Manage always-on activity alongside campaign bursts and key conference moments

  • Manage budgets and pacing across markets, channels and campaign phases

  • Coordinate creative, content, tracking, web and approval requirements

  • Brief creative and content teams on platform requirements and performance learnings

  • Monitor campaign, audience and creative performance

  • Support campaign tracking, tagging and measurement

  • Produce clear performance updates and actionable recommendations

  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, budget trackers and naming conventions

  • Proactively flag risks, blockers and outstanding decisions

About You

We’re looking for someone with 4+ years of hands-on paid media experience who is comfortable taking genuine ownership of complex campaign delivery.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong hands-on experience across Meta and LinkedIn

  • Experience managing campaigns from planning and setup through to optimisation and reporting

  • Experience delivering complex, multi-market or international campaigns

  • Strong budget management and campaign pacing experience

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working across multiple teams and workstreams

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign data into practical recommendations

  • A proactive communication style – comfortable raising questions, flagging risks and providing updates without being asked

  • The ability to work autonomously and make sound day-to-day decisions

Nice to Have

Experience in any of the following would be particularly useful:

  • Large-scale international paid media campaigns

  • Awareness and engagement campaigns

  • Event, conference or registration-focused campaigns

  • X Ads, YouTube, Google Ads or programmatic

  • Campaign tracking, tagging and measurement

  • Public sector, institutional, international affairs or purpose-led campaigns

  • Campaigns involving multiple approval processes or high-profile stakeholders

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a senior paid media specialist who enjoys working beyond the platforms and wants genuine ownership of campaign delivery.

You’ll be joining a collaborative digital agency and working on a high-profile international campaign with significant scale, complexity and visibility.

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 pro rata
Contract: Initial 5-month FTC, with potential to extend
Location: London – 3 days per week in the office
Start: September 2026
