Paid Search Manager

£45,000–£65,000 DOE

London (Hybrid)

Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning direct-to-consumer brand with an expanding product range, high-profile partnerships, and a refreshingly ambitious marketing team. Having recently returned to TV and out-of-home advertising, they are now investing seriously in performance search — and this hire sits at the centre of that shift.

The opportunity

  • Step into a business that has just run incrementality modelling confirming search as one of its highest-value channels — meaning real budget is moving your way

  • A rare in-house role where you can scale Google Search from a strong foundation rather than building from zero

  • Own the agency relationship for SEO too — bridging paid and organic search in a way few manager-level roles allow

  • Work alongside senior performance marketing leadership with backgrounds in high-growth consumer brands

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Google Ads campaigns day-to-day — generic search, shopping, and across the broader Google ecosystem

  • Manage Google Merchant Center and Shopify product feeds, including hands-on work with SKU variants and campaign alignment

  • Report on performance to internal stakeholders, including translating CAC and incrementality data into clear narratives for finance and leadership

  • Manage the SEO agency relationship and identify opportunities to connect paid and organic search activity

  • Feed insight into CRO and on-site journey improvements in collaboration with the site team

Your profile

  • 2–5 years of hands-on Google Ads experience exposure to e-commerce or DTC brands either inhouse or via agency preferred.

  • Comfortable working across Google Merchant Center and Shopify — you understand how shopping feeds are built and why they go wrong

  • Solid grasp of unit economics: AOV, LTV, CAC, and how they inform which campaigns and SKUs to prioritise

  • Confident interpreting data and building a story around performance — whether through Looker Studio, scripts, or AI-assisted reporting

  • A working knowledge of SEO and how it connects to paid search strategy; agency management experience is a bonus
