Programmatic Account Manager

Independent AdTech Business

£45- £50k Basic Salary + discretionary bonus + benefits

Location: London (Hybrid)

An established, independent AdTech business is looking to add a Programmatic Account Manager to its growing Account Management function. Operating in the UK market for 5+ years, the company works closely with media agencies to plan, activate and optimise programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple digital channels.

The business is technology-led, with a strong focus on improving decision-making, optimisation and performance outcomes for clients. This is a role that offers real ownership, visibility, and progression within a collaborative environment.

The Role:

This is not a pure relationship AM role and not a hands-on trading role. It sits in between, requiring strong programmatic knowledge and confident client ownership. It is a client-facing role for someone who understands how programmatic campaigns are planned, activated, and optimised; and enjoys owning client relationships end to end.

  • Manage a portfolio of agency clients, acting as the primary day-to-day contact

  • Lead media planning across programmatic campaigns, translating objectives and KPIs into clear plans

  • Work closely with trading teams to ensure campaigns are set up, optimised, and measured effectively

  • Confidently discuss campaign performance, optimisation logic and outcomes with clients

  • Own reporting, insights, and post-campaign analysis

  • Support activity across programmatic channels, with increasing exposure to CTV and broader omnichannel formats

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

What we are looking for:

  • Agency-side experience within programmatic advertising

  • Hands-on DSP experience (current or earlier in career)

  • Comfortable building media plans and owning client conversations

  • Strong understanding of campaign setup, optimisation, and performance measurement

  • Organised, commercially minded, and solutions-focused

  • Able to balance technical understanding with client-facing responsibility
