Retail Media Manager

Hybrid (1 day per week) | London | Permanent

Our client is a globally recognised FMCG business with an extensive portfolio of category-leading brands. As Retail Media continues to play an increasingly important role in driving commercial growth, they are investing heavily in building their in-house capability and are looking to appoint a Retail Media Manager to help shape the next phase of that journey.

This is a newly created role within a growing Retail Media function, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, work closely with commercial and trade teams, and drive best practice across key UK retail partners.

The Opportunity

Join a market-leading consumer goods business that is continuing to invest significantly in Retail Media.

Take ownership of retail media planning, activation and optimisation across major UK retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Boots and Uber.

Work across leading Retail Media platforms including Criteo, Citrus and Amazon Ads.

Partner directly with commercial, sales and brand teams to drive retailer growth and educate stakeholders on Retail Media best practice.

Manage and develop a direct report whilst helping build and shape an evolving Retail Media function.


Responsibilities

Retail Media Strategy & Activation

  • Plan, launch and optimise Retail Media campaigns across key retailer platforms.
  • Manage activity across Criteo, Citrus and Amazon Ads.
  • Identify optimisation opportunities and improve campaign performance through ongoing analysis.
  • Ensure campaigns align with wider commercial and retailer objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with Commercial, Trade, Sales and Brand teams.
  • Act as the Retail Media subject matter expert across the business.
  • Present campaign performance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Educate internal teams on Retail Media best practices and platform capabilities.

Performance & Insights

  • Analyse campaign performance using key commercial and media metrics.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve retailer performance.
  • Produce clear reporting and communicate results across the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement through testing and optimisation.

Leadership

  • Manage and develop one direct report.
  • Support the ongoing growth of the Retail Media function.
  • Help establish scalable processes and best practices across retailer media activity.

Your Profile

  • 3-5 years' experience within Retail Media, Commerce Media or Ecommerce Media.
  • Hands-on experience across Criteo, Citrus and/or Amazon Ads.
  • Strong understanding of Sponsored Products, Search and Retail Media campaign optimisation.
  • Experience planning, executing and measuring Retail Media campaigns.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Previous line management or mentoring experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • FMCG, agency or retailer experience all considered.
