Senior Media Account Manager | Independent Creative & Influence Agency | London (Hybrid)
Are you a media-first account lead who wants to shape the conversation, not just report on it?
I'm partnering with an award-winning independent creative and influence agency in central London. They're known for fast-moving, high-profile campaigns for governments, industry bodies, corporates and challenger brands. Paid media grew out of their social work and is now a core part of the business, running media-led clients alongside hybrid creative and media accounts.
They're hiring a Senior Media Account Manager to become the senior media voice with clients. It's a new role, so you'll help define it.
What you'll be doing
-
Owning client relationships on media-led and hybrid accounts, starting with a B2B performance account where the agency delivers both media and creative
-
Leading strategic media conversations and shaping briefs for the media team
-
Advising clients while campaigns are live: what's working, what to change and where to invest next
-
Turning around reactive, news-driven campaigns quickly, often in the policy, corporate and political space
-
Advising on platform rules for political and issue-based advertising, including account setup and authorisations
-
Helping bring media into new business, from RFP responses to first thoughts on strategy
-
Working closely with creative teams to shape briefs and judge what will perform on each channel
What they're looking for
-
A current or most recent role that's media-led, ideally at an agency that works alongside creative
-
Strong paid social experience across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, with exposure to programmatic, search or DOOH
-
Enough knowledge of broader channels to hold an awareness conversation with a client
-
Experience as the main driving force on an account, comfortable with autonomy and no layers to hide behind
-
An understanding of creative and how it performs on each channel, ideally with some creative production experience
-
An interest in B2B, corporate, policy or campaigning work, where the goal is shifting opinion rather than selling products
-
Real, practical use of AI tools in your work, and the ability to explain how they've made you better
Why it's worth a look
-
A small, fast, ambitious team where leadership and initiative are celebrated
-
Campaigns that are in the news and change the conversation
-
A central London office, hybrid working, and an agency that's investing in AI upskilling
-
Interviews are happening now, with a quick process
