Senior Manager, Measurement | Retail Media
Hybrid (London) | Permanent | £100,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Our client is one of the UK’s most advanced retail media and customer data businesses, operating at the intersection of retail, media, data science, and marketing effectiveness.
Powered by one of the richest first-party data ecosystems in Europe, they are redefining how brands measure media effectiveness across an increasingly complex omnichannel landscape.
The Opportunity
This is a highly strategic opportunity sitting within a growing measurement function focused on shaping the future of retail media effectiveness.
Rather than operating as a traditional analytics or MMM delivery role, this position sits upstream — focused on designing measurement strategy, defining frameworks, influencing product direction, and helping shape how effectiveness is measured across retail media environments.
Working closely across Product, Commercial, Data Science, and Strategy teams, you will help define:
- what should be measured
- how it should be measured
- and how measurement translates into meaningful commercial outcomes for brands and internal stakeholders.
This role would suit someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity, building from first principles, and influencing across complex cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
Measurement Strategy & Framework Development
• Define and evolve measurement frameworks across retail media, brand, performance, and omnichannel environments.
• Design approaches across incrementality, experimentation, MMM, attribution, and effectiveness measurement.
• Help shape how measurement is embedded into products, propositions, and go-to-market strategy.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner closely with Product, Commercial, Data Science, and Analytics teams.
• Act as a strategic bridge between technical measurement methodologies and commercial application.
• Influence senior stakeholders across the organisation and help align teams around measurement priorities.
Retail Media & Commercial Effectiveness
• Help shape how retail media effectiveness is communicated internally and externally.
• Translate complex measurement outputs into clear, commercially meaningful narratives.
• Support the evolution of measurement capabilities across onsite, offsite, in-store, social, CTV, and emerging channels.
Experimentation & Incrementality
• Support the development of experimentation frameworks and incrementality measurement approaches.
• Evaluate the strengths and limitations of different methodologies and recommend pragmatic solutions.
• Help drive a test-and-learn culture across measurement and media effectiveness.
Strategic Thinking & Innovation
• Operate effectively within a fast-moving, evolving environment.
• Contribute to the future direction of measurement products, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Balance strategic thinking with practical implementation and scalability.
Your Profile
• Strong background in measurement strategy, marketing effectiveness, analytics, or media effectiveness.
• Experience across methodologies such as MMM, incrementality, attribution, experimentation, or audience measurement.
• Comfortable operating across ambiguity and influencing within cross-functional environments.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect measurement to business impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within retail media, FMCG, digital platforms, media, consulting, or large-scale consumer ecosystems is highly advantageous.
What’s On Offer
• Opportunity to help shape the future of retail media measurement within one of the UK’s leading data-driven businesses.
• Exposure to one of the richest first-party data ecosystems in Europe.
• Highly strategic role with strong visibility and influence across the organisation.
• Hybrid working and mature, flexible team culture.
• Strong long-term growth potential within a rapidly evolving space.
