About the Role
We’re partnering with a well-established, mid-sized integrated creative agency to hire a Social Media Account Executive.
The agency works across advertising, design, social, UX/UI, web development and media, producing brand-building work for a diverse range of clients. The team is close-knit, collaborative, and energetic, making this an ideal role for someone starting or consolidating their career in social media account management.
This role offers hands-on exposure across strategy, content production, community management, reporting, and client communication, providing a platform to learn and grow in a supportive, creative environment.
What You’ll Own
As a Social Media Account Executive, you’ll support clients’ online presence, helping to deliver day-to-day social media activity, coordinate campaigns, and contribute to strategic planning.
You’ll work closely with the Social, Creative and Account teams, assisting with content creation, publishing, reporting, and community management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support development of creative and effective social media strategies
- Manage daily activity across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest and YouTube
- Schedule and publish content using tools such as Hootsuite, Brandwatch and Asana
- Assist in creating engaging copy and multimedia content
- Monitor and engage with communities, responding to comments and messages appropriately
- Track, analyse and report on social performance using analytics tools
- Keep up to date with trends, newsjacking opportunities and platform updates
- Support campaigns, competitions and influencer initiatives where relevant
- Assist with audience and competitor research, reporting, and performance recommendations
- Work within the integrated agency environment from brief to delivery
- Manage timelines, project tasks, and support client communications
- Learn to contribute to basic project costing and resource tracking
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar social media role (agency or brand side)
- Practical experience executing social media activity across multiple platforms
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to tone, style, and grammar
- Familiarity with social media scheduling, reporting and analytics tools
- Interest in trends, culture, and social innovation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the wider team
