Our Client is a global media agency with a specialist social team that operates with the pace and creativity of an independent agency, backed by the scale and opportunities of a major international network. With a close-knit team and impressive portfolio of major brands, they offer genuine autonomy to shape how social works, grows and evolves.

The Opportunity

  • Join a 15-person social team as one of its senior leaders, helping shape its direction, structure and growth.

  • Lead a portfolio of major brands across always-on social, creator campaigns and wider social production.

  • Manage a team of four, while influencing the wider social team alongside senior leadership.

  • Enjoy significant autonomy - with the freedom to make decisions, develop new opportunities and build the team in the way you believe works best.

  • Benefit from the scale of a global media network, with new opportunities coming through existing client relationships rather than constant traditional pitching.

Responsibilities

  • Lead senior client relationships, acting as a strategic point of escalation and trusted advisor.

  • Oversee accounts, creative campaigns, creator marketing and always-on social activity.

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and unlock new work across the wider network.

  • Support team structure, ways of working, credentials and the wider social proposition.

  • Manage, mentor and develop Account Directors, Account Managers and Executives.

  • Work closely with senior social leadership to shape the team's future direction.

Your Profile

  • Senior Social Account Director / Business Director experience, or an experienced AD ready for the step up.

  • Strong experience across social strategy, creative campaigns, content and/or creator marketing.

  • Comfortable managing major brands, substantial budgets and senior client relationships.

  • Proven people management experience and a genuine interest in developing teams.

  • Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and comfortable working with autonomy.

  • Agency experience with larger brands is highly desirable; sector background is flexible.
