A highly respected creative agency is looking for an experienced Strategy Director to join its senior team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives on building brands, shaping campaigns, and driving effectiveness across multi-channel platforms.

The Role:

As Strategy Director, you'll work at the heart of the agency’s strategic output – partnering with clients, creatives, planners, and media teams to deliver work that’s as effective as it is creative. You’ll lead thinking across brand and communication strategy, helping major household-name clients navigate complex challenges with clarity and creativity.

This role requires a mix of commercial acumen, strong insight development, and the ability to translate strategy into inspiring creative direction. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys blending long-term brand thinking with day-to-day campaign strategy and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand, communications, and channel strategy across flagship accounts
  • Develop clear, compelling creative briefs rooted in audience insight and business objectives
  • Act as a strategic lead in client meetings, helping to steer relationships at a senior level
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment across creative and media
  • Champion effectiveness and measurement – balancing creativity with commercial impact
  • Stay on top of platform trends and marketing innovation to ensure future-fit solutions
  • Contribute to agency culture and thought leadership

About You:

  • Proven experience in a senior strategy or planning role, ideally within an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, campaign development, and integrated communications
  • Comfortable working with data, research, and insight to guide strategic recommendations
  • Confident presenting ideas and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Curious, collaborative and creatively-minded
