Technical SEO Specialist
£45,000-50,000 + bonus

Our client is a major international retail group operating across 25+ markets, with a portfolio of well-known health, beauty and ecommerce brands serving millions of customers across Europe. With continued investment into digital growth, they are now looking to hire a Technical SEO Specialist into their high-performing in-house digital team.
The Opportunity
- Own technical SEO strategy across multiple high-traffic ecommerce brands and international markets
- Work within a highly technical environment with a strong focus on JavaScript SEO, crawl optimisation and Core Web Vitals
- Join a consultative in-house agency model supporting multiple business units rather than a single website
- Operate in a visible, high-impact role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders
- Blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across audits, implementation support and performance analysis
- Collaborate closely with product, development, UX, analytics and content teams
- Play a key role in driving organic growth across a large-scale digital estate
- Join a collaborative, low-politics culture with genuine autonomy and ownership
Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO audits and identify opportunities across multiple ecommerce websites
- Support implementation of SEO recommendations alongside developers and product teams
- Drive improvements in organic visibility, traffic quality and Core Web Vitals
- Conduct competitor analysis, keyword research and performance reporting
- Build strong consultative relationships with stakeholders across different business units and markets
- Monitor search trends, algorithm updates and emerging SEO best practices
- Support internal education and champion SEO best practice across the organisation
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve overall site performance
Your Profile
- Strong technical SEO experience working across complex or enterprise-level websites
- Experience working on JavaScript-heavy websites and understanding of modern SEO challenges
- Likely background either agency-side or in-house across ecommerce or multi-site environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with product, development, UX, analytics and content teams
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of SEO performance metrics
- Hands-on, proactive and comfortable operating with autonomy
