An award-winning independent media agency is seeking a Digital Account Manager to join their growing digital team. This is a hands-on, cross-channel role offering the opportunity to work across a range of the agency’s most important clients, delivering campaigns that balance creativity with effectiveness.

The Role

You’ll manage digital media activity across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic (Display, Video, CTV, Audio). The focus will be on Search and Social, with ongoing support across other channels. You’ll lead campaign planning, oversee execution and optimisation, and deliver insightful reporting and recommendations.

This role is both strategic and operational — ideal for someone who enjoys driving performance while contributing to bigger-picture thinking. You’ll collaborate closely with Client Services teams to ensure integrated planning across online and offline media.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of multi-channel digital campaigns
  • Plan, activate, and optimise activity across Paid Search and Paid Social
  • Produce weekly reports with actionable insights using in-house reporting tools
  • Manage and develop a Digital Account Executive
  • Build strong client relationships and lead regular client meetings
  • Contribute to new business and upselling opportunities

Required Experience

  • 2–4 years’ hands-on experience in digital planning and buying
  • Independent media agency background preferred
  • Strong experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager; LinkedIn or TikTok Ads a plus
  • Proven record managing performance/direct response campaigns
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage and develop junior staff
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing experience
