An independent, award-winning media agency is looking for a Planning Executive to join its growing team. Known for its strategic approach and willingness to challenge conventional thinking, the agency works with a range of ambitious clients and has built a strong reputation for delivering effective, insight-driven campaigns.

As Planning Executive you will be supporting an Account Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of client accounts, ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll gain exposure across the full media planning process while building strong relationships both internally and with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of campaigns from briefing through to reporting
  • Maintain accurate status reports and campaign documentation
  • Assist in organising meetings, producing contact reports, and general account administration
  • Contribute to client presentations and reporting
  • Support media planning and implementation, including briefing investment teams
  • Analyse audience data, consumer journeys, and market trends to inform planning
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research for client reports
  • Monitor campaign performance to ensure smooth delivery
  • Assist with financial administration including POs, approvals, and budget tracking
  • Build relationships with client teams and become a key contact for junior stakeholders
  • Contribute to new business support where required

Your profile:

  • 0–2 years’ experience in media, planning, or account management (agency preferred)
  • Understanding of campaign management systems (e.g. Adserve, DDS/Choices, Addynamix)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and curious approach to briefs and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Interest in media, marketing, and emerging channels
